5 quilts April 25, 2022 from Making A Lather

 My 5 quilts progress report. My last report April 13th

1. Rainbow scrap challenge - pink - I started a new block this month called zipper? I am thinking 12 of each color/month


2. rhododendren mystery - hunter -   I am making setting triangles with the hourglasses. I have set B finished


and the cornerstones


3. Boho heart - I made 2 blocks in group 1 in orange.


4. DSP9-  I had a box of 9 patches that I had set aside to make disappearing 9 patches. I finished the two sides that were not finished with the arrangement of the dsp blocks ...

  My 5 quilts progress report. My last report March 21

1. Rainbow scrap challenge - pink- I cut and sewed all the yellow hunter's star blocks for March.


and I started with pink for April with candy blocks



2. I used a random number generator and I opened the box for an older ufo called 'every which way' by gigis thimble that I started in 2016. It looks like the top is made and just needs borders. 1. Rainbow scrap challenge - yellow/gold - I am catching up hunters star blocks in red and aqua and I am just about done, maybe 5 left to do.



This quilt is officially retired to the "to be quilted" closet

vintage finish from Making A Lather

I was able to finish this quilt that I started in January at a quilt retreat ( remember those?) I had bought 8 blocks from my hubby's Aunt's estate sale. The blocks were made by her before she married, and, it has the names embroidered by the laddies who made them. Aunt Melba's block is the purple tulip. I added my homemade hexies to the last block and put the quilt together. I love the fabrics and the signatures.
